Orders and shipments
1. orders
1.1. When placing an order in the online store, the customer remains bound by the terms of the items they have selected for a period of five days from the date of the order. After this period, Mestre Jardineiro reserves the right to update the prices of the items. In this case, and after the five days, if the customer wishes to finalize the purchase, they will have to assume the updated value visible in the online store when confirming the order.
1.2. The customer must register with the online store, or log in as a guest, and must accept the General Terms and Conditions.
1.3. The customer is solely responsible for filling in the details and providing the information, as well as for verifying them.
1.4. The online store provides the following payment methods: Credit and Debit Card, Mbway and Multibanco Reference and Paypal.
1.4.1 All purchases made through this website are subject to the current rate of Value Added Tax (VAT) in Portugal and Spain according to the products sold.
1.5. Once the order has been confirmed by the customer, Mestre Jardineiro will confirm this via an e-mail sent to the customer.
1.6. Payment for the order must be made within 3 days of the order confirmation email being sent to the customer. This payment will be confirmed by Mestre Jardineiro and the respective invoice will be issued and sent to the customer with the items purchased. Once the maximum payment period has passed, Mestre Jardineiro will cancel the order without warning.
1.7. Confirmation of payment by Mestre Jardineiro, within the indicated period, without any opposition on the part of the end customer, is contractually assumed as acceptance of the order.
1.8. Depending on the status of the order, the customer may cancel it, provided it has not yet been shipped. To find out if it is possible to cancel your order, please contact us by email to geral@mestrejardineiro.com.
2. Sending the order
2.1. Mestre Jardineiro ships to mainland Portugal, the islands and Spain, with the exception of the Spanish islands.

2.2. Mestre Jardineiro only assumes the timely and correct shipment of the product by the carrier and is not responsible for any delays caused by the carrier. The estimated time for shipping the order in the online store is therefore not binding.
2.3. Mestre Jardineiro will send the order to the customer between 3 and 4 working days after receipt of payment, the transportation time being the sole responsibility of the carrier contracted for this purpose.
2.4. The customer can follow the transportation of the order via the tracking link of the carrier responsible for sending it. Once the order has been confirmed, a link will be sent to the customer by e-mail, allowing them to track the order. From here, the customer can follow the entire process, from Mestre Jardineiro to the delivery of the order to the address previously indicated by the customer.
2.5. If the customer is not available when the order is delivered, it is their sole responsibility to contact the carrier and arrange a new delivery date. The carrier’s contact details can be found on the attempted delivery notice left in the customer’s mailbox.

3. Exchanges and Returns
3.1. Our plants and products are prepared and shipped with the utmost care. If you detect any problem with your order, please contact us within 72 hours (3 days) of receipt. After this period, we cannot accept any responsibility for the condition of the plants or products, as they are living and perishable items.
3.2. Communications must be made exclusively by email, using the address geral@mestrejardineiro.com. Complaints made via social media will not be accepted, as we are unable to guarantee proper follow-up through these channels.
